Parental Involvement

Parental involvement is essential to the HFSC program.  Our swimmers are successful for

many reasons, but the contributions made by their parents is one of the most important ones.

In order for our hosted swim meets to be successful, we need parents to volunteer their time doing

a variety of jobs during our meets.

Each swim family will be required to work a set number of meet sessions determined by our fall/

winter meet schedule, which will be announced in early October.  Typically each family is required to work 4 to 6 sessions.  For those who can't fulfill their parental involvement obligation, a buyout in the amount of $100 is available.  Any family not meeting their parental involvement requirements will be assessed a fine of $25 per missed session which must be paid in full prior to the end of the season.

Fundraisers
Team Sponsorship Form 2009-2010

Each swim family is also required to raise $100 in fundraising monies.  This can be achieved through sale of ads for our swim meets, garnering swim team sponsorship,  or any other team-sponsored fundraising activities.  All dollars exceeding the $100 required amount will result in a 25% credit to the swim family to be applied toward any swim fees, i.e. escrow, registrationFor those not wishing to participate in fundraising, an up front buy out of $100 can be made at time of registration.
